Bioshock Infinite Elizabeth cosplay - April Gloria by aprilgloriacosplay Bioshock Infinite Elizabeth cosplay - April Gloria by aprilgloriacosplay
My first cosplay: Elizabeth. I unfortunately didn't hand make all of this one being that it was my first one. The corset is a white satin corset turned inside out. I attached lace and grey ribbon to that. The jacket was made by Sherryval on Etsy. Choker is by CosplayDesu on Etsy. The skirt was made by sewing a large retangle of fabric together at one end, and folding over fabric at the top, sewing it into a tube and using ribbon as a drawstring. I did not hem it. I sewed the petticoat, using a simple skirt pattern and attaching eyelet lace at the bottom. The boots are from eBay. At the time of the shoot my hair happened to be close to the right length so I just skipped out on a wig.
I started the costume in April 2013 but I kept adding and 'perfecting' it so the entire thing wasn't completely finished until late August.

I've just started playing this game! Actually, I rented it when it came out, played a little after Booker gets Elizabeth out of the tower, and then had to take it back. I recently bought it for twenty bucks. So I'd assume you like this version of her, rather than the less risque version when she's in the tower. :) I'd have to say I prefer this one. It's almost a hybrid look between the old Victorian, straight-laced ideal and the 20s flapper openness. But was this a real look in 1912? I don't know much about the period.

And, btw, do you think Bioshock Infinite is steampunk?

Love it! I'm starting to get a cosplay together for her for September and I can't seem to find anyone willing to help me make the gown part itself. Can you recommend anyone?
